I am trying to set up an FTP site to share files between two pc's which both have XP operating systems and routers. I have a 3rd pc which is running on Windows 2000 and I am able to log on to it's FTP site from both of the other computers, but I cannot seem to get past the XP/router firewalls on the XP system. I have tried everything! Even reloading XP and starting from scratch. If you know the secret... PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!

the standard XP firewall, is it on? if so, try to change the setting to allow FTP connection to that computer...

and dont forget to "run" the FTP site ;) cause the default setting is off...

i hope this helps :)
