Hi for some reason after I set up my connection to the net everytime I go to connect to the net the dialog box has a different password there than what I typed. I know this because it has more characters than my short password. I go into the settings/properties and change it but it is still the same. I have tried to trick it many time but with no results that are permanent. I can still connect by typing/changing the password manually. I just installed windows two days ago! The box scrambles the password you entered so it looks like there are more characters than you put in for security reasons. you shouldn't have to change or put in your password manually. best of luck Frank :
