I did not know for sure but I think this is the right forum for this question. How can I set my internet explorer homepage via the registry (I am assuming this is stored in the registry). The reason is that I go to MSU. When I use a public terminal and set my homepage and log off the hompage is reset when I log back on. This is nothing in itself, but about 90 other things are also reset. So I am creating a bat file that will set my terminal up the way I want it (ie set my homepage, add some short cuts to the desk top, set some other registry entries, add some links in the correct internet explorer directory, etc) and I am putting it in my network space. Can some one post an example reg file that can set the IE homepage if it is merged? Thanks

It's like this in the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Start Page

Check out a couple of kellys .reg files to study the format:
