Setting Desktop icons open IE

I loaded Firefox onto my computer and it changed a few things and I am unable to undo the changes. When I click on a Desktop icon I nolonger knows to open it with in this case with Internet Explorer. I have gone into folder options but cant see which file type to associate with Internet Explorer. Please help
