Setting default internet browser

I use Netscape 7.1 for 95% of my browsing but there are certain instances where I need to use Internet Explorer. In particular I want to use my computer as a PVR and the features that I use with my online program guide (Titantv.com) are only fully compatible with IE. Is there a way for me to set it so that only certain applications start IE when they automatically open a browser? I want to continue to use Netscape as my default browser though. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i'm not 100% sure if this will work, but might give it a go. go to one of the files you want to open with IE. right-click on it and select "open with|choose program" from the menu. IE may already be listed as an option in which case you won't have to do the "choose program" part. hope that helps.
