Setting all folder options the same

Dear group:
How do I set all folders to "show details" at the same time? In other words I want to be able to set the folder to "view -> detials" for all folders at the same time.
I notice that sometimes if I set a folder for "view -> details" and come back to it later sometimes the same folder will have thumbnails instead of details like I set it to earlier.

In Windows Explorer or Control Panel, click Tools in the Menu bar, click Folder Options, click View tab, in Advanced Settings list, find and check mark "Remember each folder's view settings".
After doing the above, and it does not work good enough, then: After setting a folder to what you want, go to the View tab in Folder Options, and click the "Apply to all folders" button.
