I have a Logitech webcam & I need to get it work on a LAN with windows Xp (home) or 2000. The point is I don’t want to broadcast on the web; I just want to broadcast the video on my local network so I can see the video taken by one PC on the other. Does anybody have any bright ideas? Do I need a particular software?

if it appears in my computer, right click it, go to sharing and security, click i understand the risk... blah and tick share this folder on the network. it will not be broadcast over the web.
