Hi everyone.
Is there any way to configure keys such as AltGr+1 to stop the music at Windows Media Player or one of the F's?
What i'd like to do exactly is configurating F5 or AltGr+1 or "End" to stop, F6 or AltGr+2 or "PageDown" to Go back to the previous track, F7 or AltGr+3 or "Home" to play/pause the music and F8 or AltGr+4 or "PageUp" to skip the track. Any of the three keys would be usefull, as I don't use them for another purpose. The idea is that they should work as media keys in my normal keyboard, so if the Windows Media Player is minimised then they would still work.
Thanks to everyone, Best Regards,

Try a keyboard remapping software like for instance Key Tweak.

@Jennifer
AltGr is the Alt key to the right of the space bar ;)

I'm just curious. Why the 'G', what does it signify?

Nigel Spike: The KeyTweak worked perfectly, it's exactly what I needed. Thank you very much. I'm using the modified keys right now, lol.
To "aegis1": Alter Grab or AltGr is a key between the spacebar and the right windows key.

The AltGr key is found on non US keyboards, and is used to type characters not found on the local keyboards. According to Wikipedia it stands for Alternate Graphics.

Example.
Shft+2 on most Scandinavian keyboards is "
AlGr+2 is @
Shft+4 is ¤
AltGr+4 is $

@Wiky5

AND... :) My trusty IBM "clicky" keyboard doesn't even HAVE Windows Keys. Thus, nothing between the Alt and Ctrl. Resisting the urge to make a lame comparison to Brooke Shields and her Calvins. :)

Hi there
I also have an old IBM, it's a Thinkpad 760E. It's true, it doesn't have any windows keys. I'm having problems with it, maybe you can help me. The detailed explanation is on another of my posts: "Hard Drive Disk not found", id: 65604
I would really appreciate your help, best regards,

When someone has made the final statement to which there is no comment possible, all you can do is smile silently by yourself in stunned admiration ;)

@Wiky5, this time no, sorry.
