Comment:

Sometimes when I start my PC and Windows starts - I get this message:

"The system is shutting down...
The system process C:\windows\system32\services.exe terminated unexpectedly.."

There's also a timer which counts down from 60sec to 0.
Same window like in the Blaster virus.

Is it blaster? (Norton 2005 didn't recognize it)
What is it?

Gil, It may be the W32/Sasser.worm. To stop the countdown click Start => Run => type "Shutdown -a" (without the quotes and press enter). Try running another virus scan in SAFE mode if you can. You may also want to go to the link below and download & run the Stinger Tool.

Microsoft also has a Removal Tool availabel at the link below.
