service manager error when installi

I just download the newest ver.. of Itunes. When i try to install it I get the following error

error connection to service manager. error number = 0

I have same problems...and in addition once I click past the bad service manager problems I get this problem...Failed to install GearaspiWMD service.
No Itunes - all gone except in regedit.

I got a work around. Copy all the files in c:\program files\itunes during installation just before the error message appear. And after you click the error message all files gone, you just copy back those files, and done. Hope it work for you.
