After starting up, I go into event viewer under system and see this for every time I startup:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7000
Date: 12/13/2004
Time: 3:53:47 PM
User: N/A
Computer: HOMEDELL
Description:
The Lexmark X73 MFP Scanner service failed to start due to the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
I've searched but have had no luck. I uninstalled that printer several months ago and I am guessing this is whats making my startup time unusually slow. I've scoured the registry a few times trying to get rid of all Lexmark related files too and there is no Lexmark related item in services.msc. Any ideas on how I can get rid of this error short of formatting? Thanks

Printer's gone. Thanks though. I just went on a rampage through regedit deleting anything related to that printer. Hopefully, it works.
