Server update failed

OS: WIN XP home SP2
CPU/Ram: 512 mB
Product: Dell inspiron 600m

The windows update keeps trying to download Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Service Pack 2 (KB 921896). It keeps failing and I looked up support from windows and it said To reslove this issue please ensure that all of SQL Server services can be started. How do I do that? Thank you.

Right-click My Computer and select Manage.
Expand the Services and Applications node.
Highlight the Services node.

Now go in and check your SQL Server related services to see if they are running correctly...
