I have a problem that I can't fix... I installed win xp, now my system will not reboot after or if it does it takes forever. Sometimes I will have it go into safe mode to restore back to a good config. Now I fdisked and reformated my harddrive to try to clean it up, now it hangs at 4 minutes. Also win 2000 pro hangs at the beggining of start-up. I have the k7vta3 mother board. What do you guys think the problem is? Thanks

could be bad ram... could be power supply...
upgrade your bios for your motherboard.
could be drivers.. get the newest drivers for video card and sound card.

sounds like you have a ram problem to me. Chack tat all are seated and locked properly then bootup into your bios and make sure that all your ram is recognised. If not you may have one or more bad sticks.
