After restarting to release/renew my network settings I got a blue screen after the XP startup (with the blue bar and the black screen). Keyboard stops responding and won't run in safe mode either. Running Celeron 450mhz, 192mb ram, 9GB hdd and was setting up a generic 10mbit LAN card. Not sure if it was the connection setup that caused the problem. Ran quite well for the past 2 weeks. This is the message:
STOP: c0000221 {Bad Image Checksum} The image COMCTL32.dll is probably corrupt. The header checksum does not match the computed checksum.
