Serious issue : Windows XP and Office XP

We have installed XP on several different machines with very different hardware and over time experienced the following problem.

XP detects errors on startup and deletes files it's thinks are corrupted - System files!

Could it be that it is shutting down too fast and infomation is not getting written to the disk on time?

ring Microsoft tech support. I am sure they can help you and if the cd is corrupt they will be happy to send u out a new version of Windows XP and/or Office XP.
