I am having the same problem!! I run Windows XP Home. I also re-instaled windows and reloaded new drivers for my printer and mouse since when I do send the error report it says it was caused by a device driver. But still the problem is here. Hope someone out there can help us..

well i had the same problem as you had and i maled microsoft about this issue and they replied back to me and asked me to the following :
Suggestion 1==========
Lets disabling the "Automatically Restart" settings:
1. Right click My Computer.
2. Choose Properties.
3. Select the Advanced tab, in the Startup and Recovery section, click the settings button.
4. Uncheck the box before "Automatically Restart".
5. Press OK.
Suggestion 2
==========
Do you have Roxio Easy CD software installed? The problem can be caused by the Roxio Easy CD Creator. If you installed Roxio Easy CD Creator 5. Please download the latest patch for it: http://www.roxio.com/en/support/ (Software Updates)
If the issue continues, would you please help me collect the following information?
Mini dump file
===========
Please right-click the My Computer icon on the desktop and choose Properties. On the Advanced table, click Startup and Recovery. In that dialog uncheck "Automatically reboot". Make sure you check "Write an event to the system log" and "send an administrative alert". In the Write Debugging Information section, choose "Small Memory Dump" from the drop list.
Sigverif.txt
=========
1. Click Start, click Run, type "sigverif" (without the quotation marks), and then click OK.
2. Click Advanced.
3. Click Look for other files that are not digitally signed.
4. In the Look in this folder box, type "C:\Windows\system32\drivers" (without the quotation marks)
5. On the Logging tab, make sure the Save the file signature verification results to a log file check box is selected, and then click OK.
6. Click Start.
NOTE: The log file is named Sigverif.txt, and it is saved in the Windows folder
well this way you will get to know what drivers might not be compatible with windows xp
in the next mail i was told that this is because of manily some drivers for braodband modem or graphics card even sound card at times .
well if you have a legal copy of windows xp then do mail them for technical support and they will reply back in a day or two
i was myself surprised by the customer service .i hope this helps your problem .

if it is drivers then i would redo windows with the minimal settings and hardware, then add each thing until u get the error, that might be it, if it happens without any additional hardware then u have a major problem, either mb, hd, or vid without drivers, so that is even worse, but try adding each until u get the error, hope this helps

Same problem here. It was the fact that I deleted the c:\NVIDIA directory after installing the new Nvidia driver (i thought the directory was left over from the install program and just deleted it). PC would go black and reboot every 5-10 minutes.
