hi,

was using my secondary display only yesterday, left pc on all night downloading something & wake up this morning to find my desktop has changed & the secondary display has turned itself off. ive been into control panel, display properties & click 'extend my desktop to this monitor' for the secondary & then click apply & the screen refreshes & the check box becomes unticked ???

i have a saphirre radeon 9600xt & according to the device manager both the primary & secondary display are working fine. ive uninstalled & re-installed the display drivers to no avail. im now totally stumped. ive been through the troubleshooter but have found no answer to my problem. seems weird to have happened all of a sudden - i havent installed anything new or anything like that.

any help will probably save my tv from the brick im currently weilding!!

thanks,

PMF

Try System Restore to an earlier state. That may solve the problem.
