Search not working for all Users

My daughter's computer won't run the search companion. All i get is an empty screen. if I log in as admin, then it works fine. Any Ideas? thanks

gergster, my gut reaction has to do with her permissions. Perehaps you need (as administrator) to raise her level. What if you (as administrator) create a shortcut on her desktop? Will that work? HTH. Ed in Texas.

Have you tried the scandisk? Go to Start-> Run and type CMD type this command:
sfc /scannow
this command will check for corrupted or missing system files.
