Comment:

I was just wanderin around my computer and I found that my SCSI/RAID controller has an error thing on it and when I open the properties it says
"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)
"
I have a cd that came with this computer to reinstall those things...but its cracked so its useless, are there any other fixes for this, and another thing, is the scsi/raid thing important at all? thanks for any help

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

are you using the scsi/raid interface? if not it doesn't matter.

otherwise;
id the make and model then go to the manufacturers web site and download the drivers. You can do this will any hardware these days.

If it came as part of the mainboard go to the mainboards web site.
