I cannnot complete the install of XP Professional using my SCSI CDROM drive. I press F6 to configure 3rd Party SCSI devices, and it appears to configure it properly, however in continuously get the error message: Cannot find CD ROM device.

Any idea?

Try it without pressing F6.

Let the OS install and deal with the SCSI drive separately if isn't recognised.

I had problems setting up my Fireport 40 SCSI controller during install aswell no matter what I tried(different sets of drivers without luck after hitting F6). I removed the SCSI controller after I copied the full contents of XP to my harddisc. Then installed it from my harddisc and after the installation was complete I plugged in the SCSI controller and it was found and installed without problems by XP.
