Hey there, new user here and im just looking for a bit of help with a very annoying issue. When i attempt to install Visual Basic 6.0, i first recieve an error labeled "Error While Configuring ODBC Drivers", with the error message "ODBC's SQLinstalldrivermanager failed". I click Ok and proceed to install Visual Basic, until i am hit with another error (not sure if this is related to the first error) with message "scrrun.dll was unable to register itself in the system registry." I have tried registering it manually with regsvr32.exe, and automatically with windows script 5.6, and both come up with an error when trying to register it. Ive also tried deleting scrrun.dll and copying the file from my xp cd over, and still get the same error. Ive also checked to make sure i have the necessary permissions to register the .dll. I know this may sound like a Visual Basic issue, but because it deals with a windows .dll i thought it should go here. Help with this question is greatly appreciated, and look forward to your replies Andrew

My hard drive is under half full i believe. However I have figured out the solution to my own problem, it dealt with incorrect registry permissions keeping the dll from registering. I fixed up these settings and gave myself full acess, and i can now succesfully register it. Thanks for the help
