I'd like to create a script that creates a folder based on the date. My server copies a file to my workstation every Friday night. I'd like to have a script that runs every Saturday that creates the 092405 folder and moves the file over to it. I used to know what the variable was, but then I got married.

If you tell me the particulars, I can write either a batch file or a small executable to do the job.

I'd need to know:

- Location of file to be moved: Is it just one file? Will the name change?

- Path of folder to create e.g. C:\Whatever\092405

The file saved every friday on my pc is called C:\backup\vegas.txt

I'd like a script that puts that in C:\backup\092405\

Could the script also delete anything older than 30 days? thanks for your help.
