I am trying to get some help on writing a script that will help me to change My Network TCP/IP settings on my laptop. When I away from the office I am usually on DHCP, when I am not traveling I am on manual config. Can anyone tell me how to write a script that will allow me change these settings without manually pluggin in the numbers everytime. Thanks for your time.

XP has something called "Alternate Configuration" on the TCP/IP Properties window. Click this tab and you can setup a second set of numbers. Then you don't have to manually enter them, just switch to the alternate connection (or it may do this automatically depending on your setup). For more info, open Help and Support and Search for "alternate connection" and you'll find some helpful pages...
