I'm having issues w/a pc that may be virus related. The problem is that none of my drives are accessible any longer so I cannot reload the OS and I cannot boot to the prior OS. Could the BIOS be corrupted? If so, how do you reload the BIOS?

If you computer is Posting, try the following:
Restart the computer and see if you will be able to go into bois setup. (You can do that by pressing delete when you first turn on the computer.)
Keep pressing the del key until you end up in blue screen. there look for Load Optimal Settings / or Load Optimized Defaults, press Enter Answer Yes to load the defaults, Press F10 to save changes and exit.

If you wanted to reset bios:
There should be a jumper somewhere on your motherboard located near the BIOS Battery. 1st move the jumper onto the reset pins(this should be shown in your motherboard user manual). Then wait 5 seconds. After take out the BIOS battery (if possible). Wait 5 seconds. Replace battery and boot computer. see what happends. :) good luck
