Did you try CTRL+V in Windows Paint what you alt+prt scr. From within Paint program you can then print it.

Here's a tip from Computin.net "How TO's" Left side of this page.

There is nothing to learn from someone who already agrees with you.

I'll give you a location of some free software
that really works good. ScreenHunter 5 Free
After you install it, open it and change the
settings to - at single hot key click the slot
and set to print screen - set to rectangle -
Set to clipboard.
After it's setup put it on standby and when you
press print screen key it's activated.
You can capture any part of a page you want.
Look for ScreenHunter 5 Free.
Some don't have the word free after them.

If you want to see your clipboard Right click your
desktop - Go to New than Short cut - Type -
clipbrd - next - Finish

If HP keyboard is anything like a logitech
keyboard you have to press the F lock before
the print screen key will work.
Most keyboards have Num, Caps and Scroll.
Logitech has a 4th F Lock.
