Hey guys thanks a lot...especially to Chuck.

Heres another problem:
When I hit the hotkeys to manually activate the screensaver, upon resume it goes back to the desktop. Since the PC I'm using is a multi-user PC, I need to have the screensaver go to the welcome page when activity is resumed and not to my desktop (it might be another person who uses the PC). Sorry guys...here I go again...thanks a lot...

You could setup a screensaver password.
Right click the Desktop,
then Properties,
then Screensaver tab,
check mark "on Resume, password protect"
That is if you already have you user account password protected.
Or you could hit the Windows key + L

It was already checked, my user account has a password alright thats why I want "on resume" to go there, but its not working. If I have the screensaver run by itself, it's fine, upon resume it goes back to the welcome page but if I hit the Hotkeys button, upon resume it goes to the desktop...any more idea?...thanks a lot buddy

Let me get this right.
Upon resume from screensaver, you want the computer to jump right to the Logon screen ???

That is beyond my knowledge.

I was thinking that since if the screensaver started automatically,it goes to welcome page upon resume , then maybe there's some way that manually starting screensaver can also go to welcome page and not the previous desktop upon resume..

anyways, thanks a lot chuck. You've been a lot of help...
