i have a problem about the desktop screen saver. i have set it to 10 mins, but everytime i get back from away. the desktop screensaver is not on. the screen is still look the same as when i was away. then i tried to wait for the 10 mins and watch. after 10 mins, the screensaver was on, but less than 10 seconds, its back on to normal screen. i didnt touch anything, and no programs were running on the background when i was testing it. well, the monitor turn off by itself after idle for 1 hours as i set it. its just the screensaver problem.
You probably have something not plugged in tight. Somewhere something is arcing to stay connected. Maybe something needs replaced - like a battery or the settings you are setting are not being locked in because of a poorly written screensaver.
Try a standard Windows Screensaver to see if they do the same thing.
