Ok, I was playing a game that goes full screen, and before it loads the background zooms up before the game appears. Usually thats not a big deal, but I quit my game a little while ago, and my computer isn't using the full screen any more. What I mean is it shows black on the sides of the screen, like watching a standard show on a widescreen t.v. Is there anyway to fix this?

It changed your resolution. Go to Display Properties > Settings and change it to your normal settings.

can't you just right click on a blank part of the bar at the bottom. It gives a drop menu of how you want the screen to look

If the resolution (size of the screen info)looks fine but you have black borders, then go to background properties, advanced and test diffrent update frequences under monitor settings. Or, just change the monitors allignment and it will be saved for the specific resolution / frequence in the monitor itself.
