I need to take a screen shot of the xp login box. I log off then at the xp login box i push "Print Screen" button, then i log back on and go into paint and there isn't any thing to paste. Can someone please tell me what to do or it there is any software around with can do it. Thanks Jimmy

when you log off windows clears closes and clears your prt scrn. try this, get to the login box, do the prt screen, then choose cancel. paste it to paint, and save your file.

Hello! I posted two screen shots of the logon boxes. No-theme and default-theme (bitmaps approx 350 KB each)
1. I used XP Pro's remote desktop feature to connect to my computer and get screen captures with PrintScreen.
2. Software like VMWare could also be used. It lets you emulate an operating system within another one so well that you could take screenshots of XP installation and boot screens!
3. I can make more screen shots it you want if you specify theme, screen resolution (I provided 1024x768), default username, and number of password astrisks (if wanted).
