I cant change that or the color I just reinstalled windows xp pro on my dell dimension 2400 before I reinstalled I had this problem and fixed it by downloading a file but i forget were i found it at please help me find a new download to fix this

Go to this page and select Video you will have to decide out of the five available drivers, that suit your Dell...
Didnt u get a driver CD with the VGA adapter. You can easily install the drivers using the CD
