August 5, 2009 at 08:05:02
Specs: Windows XP
I have up to 1268 x 768. New monitor needs 1360 x 768. I don't know S/N of Gigobyte motherboard.
How can I solve this small problem?

The motherboard has nothing to do with screen resolution. It is your video card. What video card do you have?

Wouldn't the mb have something to due with it if he has onboard video?

Just asking.

Try this: go to Display properties > settings > advanced > adapter. You might have a button that says something like 'List all modes'.
