Screen moves left or right!

My computer screen ocasionaly moves either to the right or left and I have to manualy adjust the monitor controls to move the screen back to center. What the heck could be causing this? Also sometimes my desktop wallpaper will change to a solid color. Any ideas? Thanks....Anthony

may be its the wallpaper. try your system without any wallpapaer and screen saver, see if things improve. check your CRT is properly connected and no spikes in power supply.
