well i got this pc to tv thing, and basically, if i BOOT the computer WITH the vga splitter, it shows the windows loading fine, but after where it grabs resolution, it shows 3 things, so it shows 3 cursors and its just all messed up, if i boot with the normal ONE vga monitor cable, it shows fine, i tried booting it normally, then i switched it while it was on, and it works fine, so ONLY during the boot, if im booting with the vga splitter i will get 3 cursors and just 3 of everything, it seems to be some type of detection within windows, how do i get around this

If I understand you correctly, during boot the display is cloned (an exact copy of the first screen) to the other monitor(s). Once bootup is complete then your monitors are spanned (one desktop stretched across all of the monitors. This is normal for computers with multiple monitors, and I suspect it is built into the harware, that way. At work I have many systems that have dual outputs on the video card. The ones that actually have two monitors connected, during boot the display is cloned (an exact copy of the first screen) to the other monitor(s) after boot whatever configuration that was setup in the operating system (Windows or Linux) takes over.

Windows will not detect video correctly when you are using two completely different types of display. A TV has a totally different resolution configuration than a monitor. If your video card does not have a TV out, or you are not using a TV card you will not be able to use the same output shared between the two screens. The comment that there are 3 distinct displays on the screen is an indication that Windows does not understand what you are trying to do. Splitting the display between two similar monitors could work but not the monitor/TV concept.
