Hi there. It used to be that I could watch a DVD on my BENQ DW1655, and archive a personal DVD on my LG GSA-H10N without any problems.
My wife asked me to load some of her favorite music CD's onto the computer. Well I couldn't for the life of me. After updating windows media player and everything else, uninstalling both drives, and finally deleting the values in the Upper and Lower filters did the trick. I was able to rip the CD's with WMP11.

Now I can't watch a DVD on either drive, while using the other drive for something else. The audio gets all scratchy, and it not just the DVD's, its music playing through WMP or even the comp sounds. (Make a note that it is really pronounced when the LG is in use, when it just the BENQ, the sound is okay).
I have integrated onboard sound and video (before you jump on my back I know that having separate cards would probably solve the issue, but that can't be helped at the moment).
Any help would be muchly appreciatted, any other info you need just ask.
