I have researched my question on the internet, but am unable to find anything really conclusive.

I would like my computer to shut down at a specific time of day.
I would like that shutdown sequence to give the user an alert box and possibly a timer up to about 15 minutes to delay the shut down.

I do not want to allow the user to "abort" the shut down sequence.

If possible, I do not want to allow the computer to restart for a specific amount of time as well. Eg: one hour

If there are active applications... Eg: downloading from internet, Word etc... I want the shut down sequence to not be aborted or interrupted.

So basically, I want my computer to shut off at a certain time in the day and to give the user some notice.

Thanks.

Thanks for your response Lurkswithin... However, the link that you provided in your response is not working.

The page will load but the download link gives an error... "cannot load page". Tried in IE and Mozilla.

Any other suggestions??

Andrew
