hello all,
i want to add a scheduled task,,which wil copy some files to another computer everytime my computer starts,,but the problem is when i wrote the script and tested it said invalid drive specification
the script is like this

xcopy c:\ems\*.* \\accounts1\c\ems\*.* /y /d

now looking at the other side,,if i access the accounts1 pc from network and provide the necessary login credentials the scripts runs fine,,,i want to know if i can include the login information of the network computer in the script i can do this task,,please help

Why don't you use the time feature on the scheduled task.

Use this command then - c:\winnt\system32\xcopy.exe c:\"whatever file you want" Mapped drive:\ /y

I have messed up on the folder permissions before also.
