Comment:

I googled the subject and found if you add the Shutdown.exe file in System32 folder in Windows you can add it to Task Scheduler and it will reboot the PC, but IT NO WORKIES.

Is there an alternate solution to program daily reboots in XP?

I record TV to my PC, and it seems to run more smoothly after a reboot, so i want to schedule a reboot each night at say 2:00am, so the TV program when recording will be OK.
