I have a Umax Astra 610p scanner and they do not make drivers for winxp. I was wondering if the windows nt drivers would work..any help would be apreciated

Hello,

I found this info on the Microsoft site. I cut out the other Mfg on the list do the to fact all your interested in is the 600 series.

This article provides a list of scanners that are supported by Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) in Windows XP. These scanners have WIA device drivers that are, or that will soon be included in Windows XP.

Plug and Play scanners do not appear in the Add Scanner and Camera Wizard. If the device is included in Windows XP, the installation starts or you are prompted for an installation disk.
