I can't find scandisk on Win XP Pro. When i ran a search it came up with a file that says i have to extract when I double click it. Can anyone tell me how to access scandisk?

To use scandisk go to my computer right click the drive you wanted to scan and press properties, go to the tool tab and select scandisk, then it says something about restarting your computer, restart and it will scan the drive you selected.

Summary: I notice that there is no scandisk, or equivalent, in XP. There is one if you boot into XP after failing to shutdown properly, but no standalone version. Anyone seen it????? ...
