scandisk missing

when i got to system tools, scan disk is not there, is it supposed to be? i already tried searching for it. jake

What happened prior to this? Did you happen to load on Diskeeper?

vietzejake, The reason why you cannot find Scandisk is because is not available in XP. M$ recommend that you run chkdsk as per mattie's post above. i_XpUser
