Hi,
I have Via KT133 based motherboard (Shuttle AK12)+Duron 800 processor. I just bought SB Live! 5.1 soundcard and I can't get this thing to work. I tried to put the soundcard into different PCI slot (it was using the same IRQ 11 as video card and networ adapter), updated drivers and Via drivers. When I boot up I hear sound from the speakers but when I try to do something i.e. browse the Internet I get a total freeze-up of the system.
Does anybody know what is the problem?
regards Konrad,

I just installed XP yesterday, and was suprised to find that I didn't require a single manufacturer driver. No problems with sound (expect I want to install the creative software for EAX).
