Saving Images w/ IE

Hi, whenever I right click and go to save an image in IE6 it defaults to "untitled.bmp" and gives no other option than to save it as a BMP file. I looked at the properties of the image and it will give its proper name, and a .gif or .jpg extention. I know that the website is not restricting saving pictures, so that is not the problem. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
