SAVING FILES TO THE D & E DRIVES

OS: WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION
CPU/Ram: INTEL PENTIUM 4 PROCESSOR

I can read files from the D & E drives and I can burn cd's from the D drive to the E drive. However, for some reason I can not save files to these two drives. When I right click on these drives to determine how much space I've used on any cd disk, it always says 0 bytes left even if it's a new cd disk. I get the following error messages when I try to copy a file to these drives;
1."You do not have access to the folder E:\, See your administrator."
2. "Word can not save this file. Makse sure that the disk you want to save this file is not full, write-protected or damaged."

see if you engaged quotas on these drives

Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.

You might try "InCD". It allows you to format your CD-RW so you can "save to" like you can a floppy or your hard drive.
