Comment:

I have different preferred configurations for the icons on my Windows Desktop depending on the screen resolution that I have set for the monitor. Is there any way to save the configuration of icons on the Desktop so that an old configuration can be restored after temporarily changing to a different configuration?

I installed the aplet suggested by CyberSlug. It seems to do the job. Thank you.
