Hi,
Xp don't like Savage 4.
Tried to find updated drivers bbut with no luck.
Had the same problem and had to upgrade grarhics card.
If memeory serve's me well i think Savage 4 has 16mb memory, and Xp needs 32mb graphics card.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Alan

Savage 4 will work with XP just fine. XP does NOT require your video card to have 32MB of RAM as a minimum. In fact, as per the XP system requirements "Super VGA (800 × 600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor" is all that is needed. Microsoft also suggests a minimum of 8MB video for DVD playback. I am not going to search the entire internet for XP driver for the Savage 4 but I have found a place where you can get Windows 2000 drivers that will also work and should definitly allow you to play Wolfenstein. Native XP drivers for video cards generally don't support openGL and therefor, many games won't work. Because 3DFX is no longer in business, I was forced to use Win2000 drivers on one of my machines running XP with a Voodoo 5 card in it. Using the Win2000 drivers and a little bit of tweaking to get the 3DFX tools to work, everything works as well as it did in Win98 now.

Incorrect. XP will run quite fine on even an 8Meg vid card :-)

MS Plus! pack requires at least a 16Meg card to run some of its screensavers and games.

Did anyone say anything about MS Plus! yo yo ma, or is this just your 2 cents again? I believe the subject was if XP required a 32MB card, not could XP Plus! work with an 8MB card. Many newer 3D games have minimum requirements of 16MB or 32MB video cards but that doesn't mean that XP itself wouldn't run properly with an 8MB card :)
Wolfenstein requires a 16MB card. But It also requires OpenGL which most XP native video card drivers do not support.
By the way, who the hell wants XP Plus! anyway, yo yo ma? I got it for free at a convention and it's a pile of crap. The only thing good about it is the aquarium screen saver!!
