sata/primary/secondary master slave

hi,
i am about to install another sata drive and that will leave me with 2 sata drives and both ide channels open (i currently have a regular ide harddrive running that will be replaced by the sata).
i also have two dvd burners (one i strictly burn on and the other to listen to music and watch dvds) i want to hook up.
here are my questions:
could i put one on the primary (the better one that strictly burns dvd/cds) and the other (the listening model) on the secondary? both as masters? i have them as of right now on the secondary as master and slave (havent hooked up the sata yet) and sometimes they act a bit wonky.

Yes you can make them both masters on separate IDE channels.
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

I have better luck when using Master/ Slave settings than Cable Select. I am typing on a system with One SATA, One IDE HD, and 3 optical drives. This is the second MBoard to have the IDE setup as it is, and I never have any problems. The setup you describe should work great.
