HI guys, i have this problem:
I got my Maxtor 200Gb hdd and tried to install winxp with SP2. Everything past very well.
After that i installed drivers for my chipset, lan, IDE, sound... After that i reboot my pc.
And heres the problem. Booting seems to freeze at bootscreen. And i must do cold boot again coz alt+ctrl+del wont work. After coldbooting(reset)it can`t recognise hdd... I have no idea whats happening. So i need some help. thanks.

I have that same motherboard and had some issues with the first time I installed it. I suspected that the problem was due to some of the oveclocking utilities that are included on the motherboard CD and/or with the hardware firewall inlcuded with the nVidia NIC. I reinstalled from scratch w/o installing either of the above and I have not had any similar problems.

So, i would suggest reinstalling again from scratch. Then, get an imaging application (such as ghost) and do an image before doing any major software upgrades/installations.

Good luck.
