I am trying to setup a RAID configuration on a ABIT KD7G board. I have got 2 Maxtor 40g ATA 133 drives. I am using the ABIT Serriell SATA converters as well. The system lets me make the RAID 0 stripe and lets me format the drive through XP PRO and seems to install the OS but as soon as I get to the end of the install it will not boot into windows. Any ideas?

Wild guess, but who is the manufacturer of your RAM? My friend had the same trouble with this board, and the culprit was a stick of mainstream PC3200 memory. He had to slow down the memory in the BIOS to install XP, but afterwards he was able to bump it back up. Are you using a premium stick?
He also upgraded the BIOS in the troubleshooting process, so you may want to flash the latest update. There have been two maingoard BIOS updates since the shipping version, and both contain updates for you SATA controller's BIOS.
Also, make certain you press F6 during the first part of XP install to load support for the SiI 3112 from the driver floppy--XP needs the drivers during install or you're not going to have a working OS.
