I know this has been sort of covered, but i just can't seem to get mine going.
I recently purchased a samsung 320 gb SATA hdd. Trying to install it to my ABIT KV8 Pro motherboard. Everything has the latest versions- including bios. Running windows xp. Bios does not detect the sata hdd tried covering pins on the hdd to limit it, didn't work Tried different cables
How do i get my sata drive working? Trying to get it as a secondary storage device
Please check that I don't know but it is a basic point(Can mother board is supported 320 GB ?)or check the sata hdd on other system.& also check that BIOS version.
Thanks & regards
Tushar
