I have Samsung SATA DVD RW (DVD RW SAMSUNG SH-183 SATA)
Motherhboard: Asus A7V600-X HDD: WD 320GB SATA
DVD RW works very slowly. Burnig of DVD takes over 30 minutes, copying entire DVD to disk takes 15minutes. Procesor is often used for 100% and system is slow down.
I tried to update bios and download new SATA drivers, but no progress.

How long have you had this problem? Did you made any hardware change recently? installed any software? How is the SATA DVD drive configured? BTW I tried to update bios and download new SATA drivers, is totally unnecessary.
